BLOG: Cuffing Season? What's That?

Just wanted to start this entry off with a little wisdom above! Many of you may have heard the phrase "Cuffing Season."

According to URBAN DICTIONARY,

Cuffing season is

"During the Fall and Winter months people who would normally rather be single or promiscuous find themselves along with the rest of the world desiring to be "Cuffed" or tied down by a serious relationship. The cold weather and prolonged indoor activity causes singles to become lonely and desperate to be cuffed."

But I feel Holidays play a BIG ROLE in this crazy season. Think about it. When it cools down in October, it begins with Sweetest Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day etc. These holidays are made around couple.

Sweetest Day was originally for giving chocolates to orphans. NOW, its bastardized by candy card companies and used for a Fall-Like Valentine's Day. Sorry orphans, no chocolate for you, I'm trying to get laid!

Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ever been single and all your siblings bring home significant others for dinner. There you are with a bottle; drowning your feelings like a witness for the mob! You family is like "When will you meet someone?"Plus, there is a mistletoe! A Tradition where if you and a person are standing under a mistletoe, you must kiss. I'm pretty sure this tradition was made by a guy who really wanted to kiss his friend's wife.

New Year's Eve and Day involve the kiss at midnight. You do not want to be alone for that. You ever see someone with no one to kiss when the clock strikes midnight? It's makes that Sarah McLachlan Dog commercial look like a comedy. It's more depressing than DC's Movie Universe Attempt. FYI, I honestly LOVED Ben Affleck as Batman. He was exactly like the comic. Now he's allegedly done. I'm cut off.I wanted more! I never thought that I live a day where Ben Affleck gave me blue balls!

Finally Valentine's Day! Need I say more? How much longer must one stay with this cuffing partner? That is why we have Ground hog day day!

Partner: "Hey Honey, I want to take things to the next level"

You: "The Ground hog didn't see his shadow, so that's a hard no. We had a great run!"
