BLOG: La Befana The Christmas Witch

For my Italians out there! La Befana has come! For those who do not know what that is, La Befana is a Christmas Witch. Yes, you heard me correct! I know my Halloween friends are like "WHAT?! TELL ME MORE!"

La Befana is the story of the Christmas Witch who flew on her broom stick to deliver toys to the baby Jesus. However, she could not find him, therefore she delivers toys to all the good children of Italy to cover her bases. I assumes she believed that because Jesus was the Messiah that he had to have been Italian. This demonstrates how prideful us Italians are.

La Befana falls on January 6th. If you ever come over my house, you will see a Tree, some holly and a creepy witch statute on the fireplace mantle.
