R.I.P. Gene Wilder

On Monday, I saw #BlazingSaddles, #WillyWonka and #GeneWilder. I looked and discovered that a comedic icon and influence of mine has passed. Gene Wilder began as Leo Bloom and from there became Sherlock's jealous brother, the Waco Kid and Frankenstein (STEEN).

I made this post because I feel watching Gene Wilder shaped my sense of humor. I feel in debt to him in a weird way. Whether it was his sarcasm, snark or hysteria,I felt there was something to learn from it. The timing, the facial expression etc.

I am still speechless. So I decided I will have a GENE WILDER marathon! I have rewatched THE PRODUCERS, BLAZING SADDLES, and THE ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES' SMARTER BROTHER. Currently, my girlfriend got us tickets to see BLAZING SADDLES on the silver screen at AMC this Saturday ! Can't wait to go! That's all for now!
